‘1+IN THE FAMILY’ started with the Autumn/Winter 2012 collection. The designer, Gemma Mase, is a mother of three and has extensive experience as a designer. The inspiration for starting the brand came from her single-mother sister and her niece.
My sister’s courageous decision to start a family as a single mother was the key that encouraged me to embark on a project I had long dreamed of. That is why we decided to name our brand 1+IN THE FAMILY.
